Rome Celebrity Dance Challenge Christa-Jackson---Nicky-Mann

Christa Jackson has spent the past nineteen years at Saint Mary’s School, where she is the Director of Admissions and Development. She has four children who all went through 8th grade at Saint Mary’s.  Christa has no professional dance experience, but she did take ballet and tap from Joanna Collier many years ago. She asks that we don’t blame her dance moves or lack there of on Joanne.  She loves Elvis, country music and Disney.  Christa says her family is excited, but surprised.
Christa hopes to learn more about herself and push herself to new limits all while meeting new people and getting in better shape.  She is looking forward to this journey. Her favorite quote reads “When you see someone without a smile, give him one of your.”

Nicky Mann works for a local medical facility in Rome, where he is contracted to maintain the fleet of printers, copiers and fax machines. He is a graduate of Berry College where he performed with the Berry College Dance Troupe. Nicky also performs with Upstagers Theatre Company. His favorite music is Electro-Swing and Symphonic Metal. His family is excited that he is doing the event and that he is back to dancing after a hip injury a few years ago.
Nicky hopes this event will push him towards more performing and chasing what he loves to do, which is dance. He is participating because he wants to help the SAC and has always wanted to be part of the RCDC. His favorite quote reads “Two roads diverged in a wood, and I –I took the one less traveled by. And that has made all the difference.” –Rober Frost
