THE WINNERS OF THE
MURAL GRANT
Winning Cities of the First Challenge
The Go Georgia Arts would like to thank all of the cities that applied. We hope to offer more mural grants in your region in the future.
The City of Harlem
The mural will be painted as part of Harlem Arts Festival October 3rd and 4th. The Splatter and Drip Mural Challenge will start Monday September 28th and run through October 4th. We would like to thank our local sponsor Horizon Motor Coach for help funding the mural.
The City of Cave Spring
The mural will be painted as part of the new Art Gallery and Art Walk opening on October 10th. The Splatter and Drip will start Monday October 5th and run through the 10th. We would like to thank the Cave Spring Downtown Development Authority and the Cave Spring Historical Society.
The City of Blue Ridge
The mural will be painted as part the holidays in beautiful blue ridge mountains in the month of November. The Splatter and Drip will start Monday November 2nd and will be completed November 14th We would like to thank the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association and Art Center.
The City of Washington
The mural will be painted as part of events around the Masters in Augusta and the Tour of Homes in the City of Washington. The Splatter and Drip will start March 30th through April 9th 2016. We would like to thank the Washington-Wilkes Downtown Development Authority, and the Washington-Wilkes Tourism.
The City of Millen
The mural will be painted as part of the keep Jenkins Beautiful in April 2016. The Splatter and Drip will start Monday 25th through 30th with activities throughout the week. We would like to thank the Millen Main Street and Keep Jenkins Beautiful.
