Local Craft Fair This Saturday!

I believe creativity is one of the best qualities of the people of Cave Spring. This Saturday the DDA (Downtown Development Authority) is going to have a Local Crafts Fair. Our fellow friends and neighbors who are also artists and crafters will have tables on the lawn (or inside the museum if it rains) and will be selling their work. A wide selection of crafts will be available for purchase. Some examples are:
  • jewelry
  • home decor items and decorations
  • pottery demonstration and pottery
  • quilts
  • sewing and needle artwork
  • homemade soap
  • woodcarving and furniture
  • multimedia art
Keep in mind that several gift-giving holidays are coming up soonCave Spring Elementary has the following days for us to show the people who care for our kids how much we love them:
April 23 - Bus Driver Appreciation
April 24 - Secretary Day
May 7 - Teacher Appreciation Day
May 8 - School Nurse's Day
(April 3 was Paraprofessional Day, and personally, I missed that one, not good!)

Mother's Day is May 12, so there's less than a month to plan.  You know she needs something truly awesome this year!

Father's Day is June 16, and aren't they all difficult to buy for?  Who needs another tie?

Wouldn't it be nice to get all your shopping done this weekend?  And keep our money invested in our town too, how awesome is that?  Woot!

So come out to the Welcome Center in downtown Cave Spring this Saturday from 10am to 4pm.  We'll be outside if it's possible and inside the museum in case the fickle Spring weather turns into rain.  I'll see you there!
